Also known as Tao Zhu Y<strong>in</strong> Yuan,<br />
<strong>the</strong> eco-friendly residential tower<br />
was developed by BES Eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g<br />
Corporation on one of <strong>the</strong> largest<br />
designated residential sites <strong>in</strong> Taipei<br />
that once housed <strong>the</strong> five-star Agora<br />
Garden hotel.<br />
The 20-storey Agora Tower was<br />
designed to resemble <strong>the</strong> double<br />
helix structure of DNA, with two<br />
helicoidal towers twist<strong>in</strong>g around a<br />
fixed central core.<br />
Each 540m² apartment is completely<br />
free of columns, provid<strong>in</strong>g spatial<br />
flexibility <strong>in</strong> terms of <strong>in</strong>terior layout<br />
and partition<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>side.<br />
The ground floor consists of a<br />
double-height lobby covered <strong>in</strong><br />
transparent facades.<br />
