OUT & ABOUT Have a hoot this summer Fill your summer holidays with hours of fun with a visit to Hooton Lodge Farm. Set within over 90 acres of land at Hooton Roberts near Thrybergh, Hooton Lodge Farm is a familyrun site that offers something for everyone from the young to the young at heart. Each week the site is buzzing with music, entertainment and plenty for the kids to do. Daredevils can have all the fun of the fair with a selection of paid-for rides that change regularly, from dodgems, waltzer and high roller to trampolines, bouncy castle and fun house. The Hooton Lodge team have also recently installed a brand new adventure playground for hours of free play on everything from a 25-metre zip wire to a twin peak climbing frame. There is also a new sandpit area as well as a sensory garden for the little ones. This year, they’re aiming to raise £15,000 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and are putting on a charity day to celebrate Yorkshire Day.
