in Rotherham<br />
This <strong>July</strong>, all eyes will be on<br />
Rotherham as it becomes one<br />
of nine host cities delivering a<br />
record-breaking UEFA Women’s<br />
European Championship.<br />
The best female players in Europe will join<br />
football fans from across the globe at Rotherham’s<br />
New York Stadium for three group games and a<br />
quarter final. Alongside the games, there will be a<br />
host of community events taking place throughout<br />
the month for you to get involved in.<br />
Join the fan party<br />
For each match that Rotherham hosts, the town<br />
centre will be taken over by a festival of dance,<br />
movement, music, and food. Enjoy performances<br />
and music in All Saints’ Square, football-themed<br />
workshops and masterclasses along College<br />
Street, food and drink at the Minster Gardens,<br />
and a beautiful new public artwork at<br />
Effingham Square.<br />
The Main stage will be hosted by the South<br />
Yorkshire siren, Myra Dubois, fresh from<br />
performances on Britain’s Got Talent, London’s<br />
South Bank Centre and Edinburgh Fringe Festival.<br />

Hear the anthem for Rotherham<br />
On Monday 18th <strong>July</strong>, join in the celebrations<br />
and listen to Rotherham anthem created specially<br />
to celebrate our unique history, heritage and<br />
sporting heroes. It will be performed by local<br />
school children and musicians alongside the<br />
Royal Philharmonic Orchestra Quintet.<br />
Little Kicks with Little Nelson<br />
Join Clifton Park Museum mascot, Little<br />
Nelson, for a super session of outdoor games for<br />
under 5s. Practice throwing, catching and scoring<br />
goals. Free session with a medal for each child.<br />
Wednesday 20th <strong>July</strong> 12.30pm-1.15pm at<br />
Clifton Park Museum.<br />
Book your place at Riverside<br />
House Library<br />
Throughout <strong>July</strong>, there will be various drop-in<br />
and bookable football themed activities taking<br />
place at Riverside House library. Have a game of<br />
table football or Subbuteo, create football games,<br />
or take part in the raps and limericks competition.<br />
Be part of the show<br />
Tickets are now available on a first come, first<br />
served basis – but hurry, demand is high and<br />
some matches are expected to sell out! You can<br />
secure your match tickets from just £10 for adults<br />
and £5 for concessions.<br />
