Coordinators
Coordinators are appointed
representatives of our constituency’s
ministries of finance, central
banks and tax administrations,
responsible for capacity development
and strategic human resources
management in their institutions.
They are the cornerstone of our close collaboration
with the region and a crucial link to our deeper
understanding of the learning needs of individuals,
teams and institutions within our constituency.
Together with the Governing Board, the Coordinators
help us identify the capacity development
priorities. This way we can develop the learning
program relevant to our constituency as well as to
the processes and developments within a broader
geographical context.
The CEF and its Coordinators meet every two years
to exchange ideas and good practices in learning,
and to discuss how they could be part of the CEF
learning and knowledge sharing program.
In 2021, as part of the CEF 20th anniversary celebration, we met
with the Coordinators to celebrate our journey so far and share ideas
and the vision for the future. At the meeting, once more held online,
we highlighted our joint achievements and key milestones. We discussed
the plans and Coordinator’s roles in planned activities, especially
in light of the new Strategic Direction 2022–2026. We also
highlighted the importance of institutional knowledge management
and strategic human resource function.
By introducing the CEF model of a learning organization to public
institutions, we are convinced that we can jointly empower public
officials as confident leaders to support and enforce the needed reforms
in their teams and institutions.
