The Sussex Guild has been
invited to exhibit once again
at Pashley Manor Gardens on
August Bank Holiday Weekend.
Guild designers will be showing
their work in a large marquee in
front of the Grade I listed oak
framed Tudor house. You’ll have
a chance to chat to the makers of
beautifully handmade ceramics,
furniture, textiles, jewellery,
woodwork, glass, metalwork and
more. Work can be purchased
or specially commissioned. Plus
you can look around yhe awardwinning
gardens at Pashley.
The quintessentially English
gardens are perfectly nestled in
picturesque countryside and their
“hot” borders of dahlias, cannas
and ricinus are at their peak in
high summer. Produce from the
Kitchen Garden can be sampled
with delicious locally sourced
ingredients at the excellent

Tennis Club with Dan Bloxham,

Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC),
as part of the club’s centenary
celebrations.The dynamic duo
will coach members and nonmembers,
offering budding child
tennis stars and adults alike the
chance to play with Wimbledon
royalty. With the particular focus
of the day being to encourage
children to take up the sport, the
club will also give away ten child
memberships in a prize draw.
The winners will be announced
on the day and spectators are
welcome. Numbers are limited
so places will be allocated on a
first-come-first-served basis.
