Students’ leap of faith to raise cancer awareness
FINLAY BROOMHALL and
Spencer Smith are jumping into
the unknown to support the
Prostate Cancer Foundation.
While both year 13 students
at Christ’s College are “incredibly
scared of heights,” they are
committed to raising money for
the foundation by facing their
fears and leaping out of a plane
to support the Skydive4Prostate
initiative.
“We’ve never jumped out of a
plane before and skydiving has
Effective immediately, it is real
Papanui loyal clients, as the company
Residential Ltd, is a nod to
their much-loved office location
in Winston Ave, Papanui.
Majority shareholder Vanessa
Golightly is now joined in business
ownership by current team
already have such a passion for.
Joy Coughlan has also been introduced
as a new partner in the
business coming from a highly
successful mortgage broking
career. Joy enjoys helping people
never been on our radars,” Finlay
and Spencer say.
“But, as year 13 students at
an all-boys school, we have an
opportunity to raise awareness
about prostate cancer and
encourage younger boys to have
a greater understanding of the
issue.
“This is such an important
issue for us as young men that we
are willing to take a leap outside
our comfort zone. We hope that
everyone will get behind us and
reach their goals, “my professional
background allows me to
offer a pragmatic solutions-based
approach which when coupled
with strong teamwork, offers our
team a focus on success.”
Tracy Thomson said “after
Finlay and Spencer say it’s a
Definitely never to be repeated.
