New spot for one-stop
equipment shop
Local trade store and hire depot, Totalsite Supplies,
is now in a new location at 40 Hammersmith Drive,
Wigram. Servicing both tradespeople and DIY enthusiasts,
Totalsite is a one-stop-shop for construction
and height safety equipment, tools, temporary
fencing and much more.
The Concrete Division specialises in tools and
equipment for the construction, concrete precast
and placing, bricklaying, civil and roading, concrete
cutting and grinding as well as plumbing and drainage
industries.
Totalsite are known as the ‘propping specialists’.
Over time, the propping team of Dean Frizzell, Ray
Blome and Denzil Smith have seen architects and
builders push the frontiers in tilt slab construction.
“Along the way,” Dean says, “we’ve continued
with further innovation to meet the demand. Our
certified square panel props have improved prop
designs, we’ve expanded the range, and adapted our
approach to meet every challenge faced.”
The certified telescopic props range in size from
1.0m to 14m.
Ray adds: “We can supply the entire package with
our large range of parts and accessories from shims,
panel sealants, burke bars, anchors, to brackets and
backing rods. Our service will include propping
plans for your next project, along with delivery of
the props to your site with all consumables required.”
Totalsite can also organise a crane if required.
For concrete boxing projects, Totalsite Supplies
provide MSB Form, which is specially designed
to withstand the difficult conditions of the construction
industry. With its rigid applications and
lightweight characteristics, this adjustable formwork
solution is proving a winner in Australia.
As Totalsite Supplies consultant Clay Davies notes,

kickers, walers and nails – and we have already seen
huge interest in the construction industry here in
New Zealand.”
The Access Division specialises in ladders, mobile
scaffold, and height safety equipment. Their ladder
range includes platform, extension, dual-purpose,
telescopic and roof ladders from leading brands like
Bailey, Branach, Ox and Warthog, with aluminium
and fibreglass options for the electrical trades.
For jobs a ladder is unable to reach, Totasite Supplies
stock mobile scaffold systems with platforms
ranging in height from 1/2m to 4m.
For work on roofs or other places where safety is
compromised, Totalsite Supplies provide height
safety equipment including harnesses, lanyards,
helmets, anchors, and ropes. They also offer height
safety equipment checks ensuring your equipment
is fit for use.
Consultant at Totalsite Supplies, Rupert Bryant,
