Water The Rational Water Use Program (PURA) is an initiative aimed at promoting efficient water use in C.Vale’s chicken and fish abattoirs, thermal processing and cassava processing industries. It also involves the treatment of effluents to ensure the return of water to nature in accordance with the standards required by environmental legislation. Members are encouraged to recover and conserve springs to ensure good quality water for future generations. In the State of Paraná, the cooperative is part of an action that protects more than 2,500 springs.
