AN UPDATE FROM OUR
SENIOR BLADES
The Chairwoman and Committee of Sheffield
United Senior Blades would like to wish
all members, all SUFC supporters and the
team, management and staff, a very Happy
Christmas and a happy, healthy and successful
New Year in 2023.
On Wednesday 14th December, despite bad
weather conditions and freezing temperatures
in Sheffield, 245 members and guests attended
our annual Christmas party in the Platinum Suite
at Bramall Lane.
A lovely traditional Christmas lunch was
served with variations available for those with
special requirements and our thanks go to
Compass for their excellent service as always.
Our entertainment was provided by vocalist
Danielle Grace Williams, and she soon got the
dance floor full. A very popular choice, Danielle
has performed for us before and this is why we
brought her back again.
Our next lunch will be on Tuesday 10th
January 2023, and we look forward to seeing
everyone again next Year.

We definitely think that Rainbow
Blades have had one of the most
successful years yet.
Two Rainbow Laces campaigns,
Allies film engaging the men’s,
women’s and Academy teams, a
film focusing on welcoming Trans
Blades at Bramall Lane, the second
annual LGBTQ+ mixed gendered
charity match and winning the
Fans for Diversity award from the
Football Supporters’ Association.
A huge thank you also goes
to the committee who are all
voluntary and give up their time
to help move the group forward
and help us realise our ambitions
and continue to achieve more
every year.

Marketing, without their support
we wouldn’t be able to create such
professional and positive films such
as the Trans film from November.
