À propos de Women in Aviation International :
Women in Aviation International (WAI) est une organisation à but
non lucratif dédiée au soutien et à l’évolution des femmes dans
les domaines de l'aviation et de l'aérospatiale, qu’il s’agisse de
leur carrière ou de leurs centres d’intérêt. Parmi ses membres,
l’on trouve des astronautes, pilotes, techniciens de maintenance,
ingénieurs, contrôleurs aériens, chefs d'entreprise, enseignants,
journalistes, stewards, élèves du secondaire ou étudiants,
performers aériens, gestionnaires d'aéroport et bien d'autres.
WAI s'efforce d'encourager, de responsabiliser et d'éduquer tous
ceux dont les responsabilités, la vie ou le travail sont impliqués
dans l'aviation et l'aérospatiale, sans distinction d'origine, de
genre, d'âge, d'orientation sexuelle, de capacités physiques ou
mentales et enfin de point de vue. WAI sait en effet avec certitude
que le partage d’une passion commune pour l'aviation transcende

Women in Aviation International (WAI) is a nonprofit organization

in all aviation and aerospace career fields and interests. The
diverse membership includes astronauts, pilots, maintenance
technicians, engineers, air traffic controllers, business owners,
educators, journalists, flight attendants, high school and
university students, air show performers, airport managers, and
many others.
At WAI, they strive to encourage, empower, and educate all
those whose interests, lives, and work involve aviation and
aerospace without regard to race, ethnicity, gender identity,
age, sexual orientation, physical or mental abilities, or point of
view. They know with certainty that a shared passion for aviation
transcends any differences.
