Awards (BFEA)and, more recently the<br />

Trophy, arehostinganopen day at<br />

Flemington Farmon<strong>February</strong>22.<br />

Ashburton father and son,Phillip<br />

and Paul Everest, supported by<br />

partnersJocelyn and Sarah Hayman,<br />

respectively,farm the 255hadairyand<br />

beef farm, owned by the family since<br />

1989.<br />

They werenamed the 2022Regional<br />

Supreme winners in the Canterbury<br />

BallanceFarm Environment awards<br />

in Julythis year,but Covidintervened,<br />

stopping them being able to celebrate<br />

with an openday until now.<br />

The Everests’ have developeda<br />

sustainable dairyand beeffarm that<br />

balancesthe needs of people, animals,<br />

economicsand the environment.<br />

Their‘give­it­a­go’ attitude has<br />

resulted in the implementation of new<br />

strategies to successfullyreduce<br />

greenhouse gas emissionsand<br />

Nitrogenloss.<br />

environmentally sound while also<br />

The 2022 Supreme Winner's open<br />

day to be hosted by Flemington Farm<br />

on Wednesday, <strong>February</strong> 22, is an<br />

opportunity for people to go alongand<br />
