2022 GOLDEN OWL AWARDS

Celebrating the best and most engaging people in hospitality since 2004, the Golden
Owl Awards has grown to become the most anticipated industry event in Vancouver.
The awards are unique in bringing many of Vancouver’s hospitality owners, managers
and staff together for an amazing evening of entertainment and camaraderie.
On Monday, November 21, and after taking a 3-year pandemic pause, attendees were
eager to return for an amazing evening of entertainment and camaraderie with old friends,
new friends, and Zoom friends. Stories were told, drinks were passed, and the resiliency of
Vancouver’s hospitality industry was on full display.
Held at D/6 Bar & Lounge, Vancouver’s premier rooftop lounge, the evening opened
with an invitation-only Nominee Soirée celebration and the Golden Owls’ ten innovative
‘Experience Award’ categories. Following that, the Awards continued with the main event,
presenting five ‘Best of the Year Awards’ for best Covid Innovation, Nightclub, Festival, New
Venue, and Manager of the year. With their Golden Owl in hand, award recipients flocked to
the red carpet for a celebratory toast of Moët & Chandon.
In keeping with tradition, the evening continued at Mansion Nightclub for the Golden Owl
After-Party, establishing again that Vancouver is the best city for Night Owls.
Congratulations to all the Nominees & Winners who came out to celebrate the relentless
pursuit of hospitality excellence with Vancouver’s finest.
