THE RYVID ANTHEM MOTORCYCLE
The Anthem is one of the most affordable highway-capable electric motorcycles
on the market. At just US$7,800 this US-designed and US-assembled bike
offers pretty much everything an urban rider needs to get around town and
even use the highway to commute. Inspired by spacecraft design the chassis
is ultra-lightweight; the stainless
steel frame weighs just 5.44 kg.
The Anthem even offers an
adjustable seat height, ranging
from 30 to 34 inches, and a
removable 4.3 kWh battery pack
for easy charging. Thanks to its a
powerful 13.5 kW BLDC electric
motor, the Anthem can reach top
speeds of 120 km/h with a max
range of 120 km on one charge.

THE HYDROGEN NINJA
Kawasaki Motors is working on an
engine that uses directly injected
compressed hydrogen gas. It will be
mounted in the Ninja H2 platform,
with the hydrogen stored in canisters
in the rear. These canisters will
be swappable like batteries and the
intention is to make them available at
vending stations to power small hydrogen
fuel cells for electric devices
and vehicles. The hydrogen powerplant
is also being considered for use
in Kawasaki’s side-by-side vehicles
such as the Teryx KRX 1000.

THE FUELL FLOW

electric motorcycle with a top speed
of 137 km/h and a city range of 240 km.
For a $200 deposit (toward a target price
of US$11,995 for the base version), you
will get a $2,000 discount, and a “luxury
carbon helmet”.

THE KYMCO REVO NEX AND SUPER NEX
Taiwanese firm Kymco (who have major manufacturing agreements with
other motorcycle companies such as BMW, Harley-Davidson and Kawasaki),
have unveiled their latest RevoNEX and SuperNEX electric concepts. The
SuperNEX electric superbike was first unveiled in 2018, followed a year
later by the naked RevoNEX.
Featuring a cool-looking honeycomb bodywork which apparently acts
as an air intake for motor and battery cooling, the bikes also got new
Brembo brakes and TFT displays.
Unfortunately, there are no additional specs and the company has not
announced a release date as of yet.

THE CURTISS THE 1
Based out of Louisiana, Curtiss Motorcycles
has taken the wraps off of its stunning electric
bike, which has now entered production.
The 120-Year Anniversary Collection of
“The 1” comes in limited edition colours and
materials, making the hand-built bike even
more of a bespoke piece of rolling sculpture.
Limited to 120 examples, “The 1” is
capable of up to 168 kW (217 hp) of power
but comes with an initial peak power of 82
kW (110 hp) and a range of up to 195 km.
