Lodge teapot cocktail, an infusion of the
exotic and traditional with a dramatic
flair), along with all the usual suspects and
old favourites you would expect from a
high-end eatery.
Another new introduction to the lodge is
the spa. Tranquil and calming, Antonette
explains that what really sets it apart is
the fact that it is a spa, and not a beauty
salon. It’s the ideal space to unwind and

and pedicures to massages, body wraps
and facials. With two treatment rooms,
both of which are ideal for couples, an
indulgent treatment with Shandon Spa’s
professional therapists is a must.
The lodge itself consists of 11 luxurious
rooms that are spread out over the
property. They are furnished and
decorated in an old-world French style,
but with all the up-to-date facilities you
would expect from a modern hotel. Each
room has its own en suite bathroom,
offering privacy and convenience in
plush surroundings. The guest house is
split level, and certain of the rooms boast
their own picturesque, private gardens,
while others enjoy spectacular views
of the Crocodile River Gorge. Each one
has been specifically designed to offer
the ultimate in comfort, making you feel
at home whether you are a discerning
businessman, a couple or a family.
