There are a variety of options, from purpose (a kitchen garden outside the back door, overflowing with parsley, fragrant thyme and lavender) to size, a beautiful lemon or orange tree on the terrace or an abundance of vibrant, colourful blooms to brighten up the backyard. Fill it with the necessary soil and plants Tinus Pretorius The ubiquitous flower box The steps are fairly easy ... you will need to purchase wood of your choice, and make sure it is cut to your specified size (BUCO will do this for you). Sand it so that it is smooth. Assemble the box, and line the inside with bidem, which assists with drainage. Fill your box with soil, and then make a well for the plant or plants you have chosen. Gently insert your tree, flower or shrub into the soil. Cover with more soil and water thoroughly. Tinus can advise on fertilisers and compost best suited to your specific plant type. Win!
