Family Story Time - summer session - For children ages 0-5 and their caregivers 10 am Wednesdays, June 14 - July 19 Burbank Central Library 10 am Fridays, June 16 - July 14 Buena Vista Branch Music & Movement 10 - 10:45 am Saturday, June 17 & Saturday, July 15 Buena Vista Branch For children ages 0-5 and their caregivers Join us for a fun introduction to movement, coordination, rhythm, and dance! An outdoor program for preschoolers and their families. Dance, sing and play instruments with your friends. We will meet in the park behind Buena Vista. Tween Scene: Clay Pinch Pots 2 - 3 pm Thursday, June 29 Burbank Central Library Registration required — For grades 4-6 Make your own clay pinch pot and meet other 4th, 5th, and 6th graders in Burbank! Join us for a tutorial on the steps to creating a pinch pot and then try out your sculpting skills by creating your own! Kinder-Steps: Numbers and Counting 3 - 4 pm Thursday, July 6 Buena Vista Branch Registration required — For preschoolers ages 3-5 and their caregivers Is your child getting ready to attend Kindergarten or even start preschool soon? Join us as we explore numbers and counting with fun hands-on activities that are easy to recreate at home using everyday objects. Tween Scene: Mini Canvas Art 2 - 3 pm Thursday, July 20 Burbank Central Library Registration required — For grades 4-6 Let your creativity flow and fill your 4 in. x 3 in. canvas with whatever inspires you. Completed artwork will get a chance to be showcased in a miniature art gallery, better known as our Kids Collection display case in the Children’s Room at the Central Library. Toot-Toot! There will be books, crafts, a car parade, as well as plenty of ramps and carpet tracks for rolling over, under, and through! An instructor from a local Burbank art studio will take you step-by-step in creating your own version of a sample painting. All supplies provided. For grades 6-12 — Embrace your uniqueness and flex your creativity by making some original pride, pronoun, or allyship buttons.
