The Story of Disney: 100 Years of Wonder<br />

Archives present a celebration of Disney’s 100th Anniversary <strong>and</strong> explore<br />
the storied history of Disney’s creative <strong>and</strong> imaginative film production,<br />
its leadership <strong>and</strong> innovation in film technology, <strong>and</strong> its contributions to<br />
family entertainment.<br />
Author Bruce C. Steele <strong>and</strong> his fellow creators of Disney’s The Story of Disney:<br />
100 Years of Wonder share how they fit 100 years of history into one book that<br />
tells the engaging story! Share your own favorite Disney moments <strong>and</strong> connect<br />
with fellow attendees.<br />
Copies of The Story of Disney: 100 Years of Wonder will be available for sale<br />
from the Friends of the Burbank Public <strong>Library</strong>. A book signing will follow the panel discussion.<br />

Registration required — The history of Warner Bros. is not just the tale of<br />
a legendary film studio <strong>and</strong> its unforgettable stars, but of Hollywood itself.<br />
Perhaps more than any other studio, Warner Bros. films chronicled American<br />
life in the last century, both its trials <strong>and</strong> triumphs. George Feltenstein, the<br />
preeminent authority on the history of Warner Bros., will tell you how the<br />
studio led the industry in exploring new subjects <strong>and</strong> innovations in<br />
filmmaking. Come <strong>and</strong> share with us your favorite Warner Bros. moments!<br />

be available for sale from the Friends of the Burbank Public <strong>Library</strong>.<br />
George Feltenstein, WarnerMedia <strong>Library</strong> Historian<br />
George Feltenstein joined Time Warner in 1997 to lead initiatives involving<br />
the company’s classic film <strong>and</strong> television library. He continues to be integrally<br />
involved with Warner Archive’s ongoing efforts, as part of his role as Warner Bros.<br />
Discovery <strong>Library</strong> Historian. In 2005, the National Board of Review presented him<br />
with the William K. Everson Award for his ongoing contribution to film preservation.<br />
