First we briefly introduce the main components of DataHub Support/VM and explain the main DataHub Support/VM control files you have to set up to configure DataHub Support/VM. Then we describe how to start and operate DataHub Support/VM. Finally we discuss a performance consideration. 5.5.1 VM/ESA Service Pool Support Facility The DataHub Support/VM platform uses the Service Pool Support Facility of VM/ESA. It is an efficient way of serving an environment in which host transactions are short. Figure 131 on page 176 shows a simple Service Pool environment with the resulting path from an APPC connection.
