Committee Christmas Catch Up
The Cairngorm Hotel, Aviemore saw
the annual Christmas catch up take
place with club committee members
attending for a most sociable and
refreshment filled evening. This year
saw all our members manage to
make it to the correct establishment
in plenty time!! All 22 of us managed
to take over the hotel main foyer
for pre-dinner drinks, followed by a
most enjoyable Christmas meal in the
conservatory and our after-dinner
entertainment was supplied by many in
the company but most memorable was
Jimmy Wilson for providing us all with
some first-class entertainment. The
next day was a long one for many I am
sure but well worth it. I look forward to
seeing you all again in December 2023,
same time, and same place.
Congratulations
Many congratulations from us all
here at Scottish & Northern to Robbie
McNeil & Rachel Ralston on the arrival
of Mia Penny McNeil who was born on
23 November 2022. A little sister for a
proud big brother Archie.
Ruby Wedding Celebrations
In August last year Iain & Rhona
celebrated their Ruby Wedding
Anniversary with an afternoon
celebration at Fintry Rugby Club for
family & close friends. A fantastic
afternoon was had by all, with lots
of memories talked about and many
memories to take away. Then onto
October which saw the dispersal of
their Lochend Herd - a herd to be
very proud of and one which they had
established nearly 30 years ago. The
sale was a tremendous success for
them with a top price of 21,000gns
for the duo of Lochend Lightning and
her calf Lochend Thunder. On behalf
of us all here at Scottish & Northern
we would like to wish Iain & Rhona all
the very best for the next chapter and
we have no doubt there will be lots of
fun to be had with their grandchildren
Alba, Jess & Andrew.
