It would be difficult to create a cover that relates more to the content of
the magazine, and it is, in my opinion, also a much better way to celebrate
such a significant anniversary than just a big number. I would also say
that all three of us are not prone to self-promote and while we are all
smartarses, I would describe us as rather modest overall. Here and there
in life, you simply have to celebrate significant events – and this anniversary
is definitely one of them.
Finally, I am also very pleased to mention at this point that our 100 th issue
of bioplastics MAGAZINE is also the first issue of Renewable Carbon Plastics
and heralds the start of our rebranding. With the growing importance of
Advanced Recycling and CCU, we have realised that for the industry and
healthy change, bioplastics alone is not enough and simply doesn’t ring
true any more, especially as we want to broaden our focus even further.

I can only echo the words from the editorial and thank you, dear readers,
and of course all our partners throughout the years, for the journey
together. I am sure we have an exciting and interesting future ahead of us.
