La Région SAVA est caractérisée par un climat
tropical humide avec des précipitations plus
importantes en haute altitude. La meilleure période
pour visiter le parc de Marojejy s’étend entre les
mois d’avril et mai, puis de septembre à décembre.
The region of Sava is characterised by a wet
tropical climate with abundant precipitation at high
altitudes. The best period to visit the Marojejy Park
is between April and May, then between September
and December.
Comment s’y rendre? / How to get there?
Madagascar Airlines assure la liaison entre
Antananarivo et Sambava. Le parc se trouve à 60km
de la capitale de la région SAVA. Par voie terrestre, il
faut emprunter la RN4, la RN6 et la RN5A.
Madagascar Airlines runs flights between
Antananarivo and Sambava. The park lies 60km from
the capital of the region of Sava. By road, take the RN4,
the RN6 and then the RN5A.
Où se loger? / Where to stay?
Des bungalows nichés en pleine forêt accueillent
les touristes dans un décor authentique. Vous
pouvez également réserver auprès des hôtels
dans les villes les plus proches. À Andapa, à
L’Hôtel Beanana, l’Hôtel Vatosoa ou encore l’Hôtel
Riziky. À Sambava, à l’Hôtel Carrefour, l’Hôtel Las
Palmas, L’Hôtel Florencia et l’Hôtel Miami.
Bungalows nestling inside the forest welcome tourists
in an authentic environment. You can also stay in one
of the hotels in the nearby towns. In Andapa at the
Hôtel Beanana, the Vatosoa Hotel or the Riziky Hotel.
In Sambava, at the Hôtel Carrefour, the Las Palmas
Hotel, the Florencia Hotel and the Miami Hotel.

Vous pouvez emmener votre panier pique-nique afin
de profiter pleinement de cette nature merveilleuse.

d’Andapa proposent des plats gastronomiques.
You can bring a picnic basket and really take
advantage of the stunning natural environment. In
town, the restaurants of the hotels in Sambava and
Andapa serve gastronomic dishes.

Des activités sont proposées à Sambava, des sports
nautiques à l’escalade de la colline de Vinany.
Vous pouvez également visiter Macolline, un site
botanique situé au nord d’Antalaha, pour y observer
la Clerodendrum Kamhyoae Lamariée, une espèce
récemment découverte. Des ateliers de bricolage
permettent de comprendre les techniques
traditionnelles de l’exploitation de la vanille vous
sont également proposés.
Various activities are organised in Sambava, from
water sports to climbing on the slopes of the hill of
Vinany. You can, also, visit Macolline, a botanical
site located north of Antalaha, to discover the
Clerodendrum Kamhyoae Lamariée, a recently
discovered species. There are do-it-yourself workshops
organised including an explanation of the traditional
techniques used in the processing of vanilla.
