Cirque Rouge
Quand y aller? / When to go?
Mahajanga connaît un climat sec et chaud, avec
une température moyenne de 26°C. Le cirque
rouge peut être visité toute l’année. Six circuits y
sont proposés. Une visite guidée de deux à trois
heures permet de découvrir les paysages, les
vues, la faune et la flore mais également la culture
de la région.
Mahajanga has a hot dry climate, with an
average temperature of 26°C. The Cirque Rouge
can be visited all year round. Six itineraries
are proposed. A two to three hour guided tour
enables visitors to discover the landscapes,
viewpoints, fauna and flora, but also the culture
of the region.

Prenez un vol de Madagascar Airlines ou
empruntez la RN4 pour rejoindre Mahajanga. Le
cirque rouge est à 12km au nord de l’aéroport
d’Amborovy, accessible à pied, en quad et
en voiture et se trouve à côté de la plage du
Grand Pavois.
Take a Madagascar Airlines flight or travel
by road along the RN4 to Mahajanga. The
Cirque Rouge is 12km north of the airport of
Amborovy and can be reached on foot, by quad
bike or car and lies just alongside the beach of
Grand Pavois.

A Mahajanga séjournez à l’Hôtel Anjajavy Lodge,
au Baobab Tree Hotel, Antsanitia Resort, The Red
Rocks. Les hôtels Coco Lodge, Zahamotel, Saara
Hotel sont situés sur la route d’Amborovy.

Baobab Tree Hotel, Antsanitia Resort. Or The Red
Rocks. Coco Lodge, Zahamotel and Saara Hotel are
located along the road to Amborovy.

Papi Râleur ou Karon proposent des plats typiques
de la région. Pour une ambiance singulière, des
gargotes et snacks sont disponibles.
Papi Râleur or Karon serve dishes typical of the
region. There are also small cafes and snack bars, for
street and fast food options.
Que voir d’autres? / What else to see?
Visitez le parc national d’Ankarafantsika, sur la RN4 et
partez à la rencontre des Sifakas et de la biodiversité
du site. Profitez également des belles plages de
Mahajanga ou celle d’Amborovy et du Grand Pavois.
Visit the park of Ankarafantsika, where you can spot
the Sifaka lemurs and discover the local biodiversity.
The park is situated along the RN4. There are, also,
the beautiful beaches of Mahajanga, Amborovy and
Grand Pavois.
