5th Annual CCF Gala<br />

The Chaldean Community Foundation hosted<br />

its 5th Annual Awards Gala on Friday, September<br />

22. More than 700 people attended,<br />

including dignitaries from across the state of<br />

Michigan and special guests from Iraq. During the<br />

program, the CCF honored Karam Bahnam with<br />

the Servant Leadership Award. Karam, one of the<br />

founding members of the Eastern Catholic Re-Evangelization<br />

Center (ECRC) and REVIV3, is a successful<br />

entrepreneur who has dedicated much of his<br />

time to helping others deepen their faith.<br />

The CCF raised nearly $550,000 from the event.<br />

The funds raised will go towards many new and<br />

upcoming projects that include affordable housing<br />

efforts, the development of the Oakland County<br />

Campus and ongoing workforce training programs.<br />
