I sew the seam on the outside of the mitten,
ensuring that the user doesn’t feel the seam
when wearing the piece. After connecting the
liner to the outer, I sew a simple leather loop
for a potential braided cord or clip to hold
them together.
Every purchaser of fur remarks on how soft,
plush and warm the product is. I wear both a
fur bomber hat and mittens when I’m pushing
snow each winter with my ATV, and I can
honestly say that my head and hands are as
warm as if I was in front of the fireplace. Fur
must simply be seen to be believed.

Walking in the steps of the fur trapper from
the past, I feel connected to the land and
water. When I finish a product, I know that it
will last a lifetime and be an heirloom for the
