Key achievements and highlights:<br />
» Outlining projects, events and changes to each of the<br />
service Clubs within Campbelltown has been beneficial to<br />
each of the Service Clubs.<br />
» A recent review of Club signage across Campbelltown<br />
will ensure that there is a consistent and coordinated<br />
approach to promoting all of the Service Clubs which play<br />
a crucial role in enhancing and supporting the Community.<br />

Purpose of Committee:<br />
The Campbelltown YAC (Youth Advisory Committee) provide<br />
advice to Council on matters relating to young people.<br />

Key achievements and highlights:<br />
» Movies in the Park held in Thorndon Park for over 1000<br />
people. 250 young people registered for ‘Campbelltown<br />
Youth VIP Tickets’<br />
» 200 Study packs packed and distributed to local young<br />
people around exam time<br />
» 630 young people participated in the <strong>2023</strong> Campbelltown<br />
Youth Survey<br />
» Council supported young people on work experience and<br />
community service placements<br />
» Participated in the planning of a statewide youth<br />
Community Changemakers event. YAC Member Ms<br />
Cayleigh Stock joined the planning group and facilitated a<br />
session at the event<br />
» Council YAC and Youth Crew volunteers contributed to the<br />
planning and delivery of youth initiatives, programs and<br />
events. This included Books on Screen, a Murder Mystery<br />
Night and games activities at Campbelltown Library as<br />
well as engagement activities in local schools.<br />

Purpose of Committee:<br />
Pursuant to Section 83 of the Planning Development<br />
and Infrastructure Act 2016, Council has established a<br />
Committee known as the City of Campbelltown Council<br />
Assessment Panel (CAP) for the purpose of acting as the<br />
'relevant authority' (as that term is defined in the Planning<br />
Development and Infrastructure Act 2016) in respect of all<br />
development control matters.<br />
The CAP operates separately from Council as a<br />
development assessment authority and has its own<br />
procedures, terms of reference and protocols.<br />
Number of meetings in <strong>2022</strong>/23: 6<br />
Key achievements and highlights:<br />
» The Assessment Panel assessed eight applications over<br />
the course of the year. Seven were approved and one<br />
refusal was issued which was subsequently appealed<br />
and overturned.<br />
