PARTNERSHIP
Bi-fold hardware manufacturer, Debar, has partnered with Epsilon, provider of façade hardware and
engineering solutions, in a bid to expand its service offering overseas.
As part of this new joint venture, Dubai-based Epsilon will be promoting the Debar brand to the Middle
Eastern market and will also be stocking and supplying companies throughout the region with the renowned
DeWall System, originally launched by Debar in 2015. With specialist experience in the development of
bespoke bi-folding doors, Debar will also be working closely with Epsilon to introduce a brand-new heavy
duty system to the Middle East. As manufacturing larger systems is specific to the UK, the team at Debar will
be using their expertise to design a product that can accommodate the unique sizes required for the bigger
and more grandiose specifications commonly required in Dubai. www.debarhardware.com
VBH JOINS SECURED BY DESIGN
VBH, the hardware specialist behind the greenteQ hardware and furniture brand, has joined Secured
by Design (SBD).
SBD is owned by Police Crime Prevention Initiatives (Police CPI), part of the UK Police Service. Its aim is
to ‘design out crime’ through a number of prevention and reduction initiatives across the UK, including a
scheme to ensure the adoption of independently tested security hardware products on windows and doors
for new-build projects. At the time of VBH’s membership commencing, 32 products from the greenteQ
range and from selected VBH supplier partners have achieved Police Preferred Specification and appear
on VBH’s list of approved hardware. VBH advises that this number will grow steadily as more products are
developed and are independently tested to the relevant security standards. www.vbhgb.com
