SPRING INTO THE NEW SEASON
With Spring on its way, we caught up with DoorCo Marketing Manager
Ellie Pool to explore the latest style trends...
Ellie Pool
With pops of colour, curved furniture and
quiet luxury set to be top interior trends
this Spring, we predict a rise in the use
of colour and statement design to set the tone of
the home from the entrance.
Old and new styles unite
As we enter a season of both tradition and new
beginnings, we’re excited to see both new and
old styles unite in popularity. As we’ve come to
know, the classics such as Carnoustie, Lytham
and Sunningdale will always remain popular, but
we can see that the response to our new designs
sets them in good stead.
Our new Eaton style delivers eight new traditional
styles, while our reinvented flush ¾ lite brings
with it five new contemporary designs. These two
“We predict a rise in
the use of colour and
statement design to set
the tone of the home
from the entrance”
slabs alone can bolster any composite door range
to feel vibrant and refreshed.
A pastel palette for Spring
With Easter upon us, we’ve started thinking
about the pastel shades in our range, which lend
themselves perfectly to the Spring season.
Pantone are leading the way with their Colour
of the Year featuring as ‘Peach Fuzz’, a perfect
pastel orange which has us anticipating the rise
of paler shades this year.
From neutrals such as Clotted Cream and Clay
to something a little more colourful such as Pale
Pink, Cotswold and Moonshine, our range of
premium paint shades has something to suit all
tastes during the warmer weathers.
Chartwell Green and Agate Grey, now a standard
colour in the most popular styles, are also
perfect nods to Easter from our standard range –
available on a seven-day lead time.
New glass for a new season
With some of our slow-selling glass styles being
discontinued on April 1st, we’re excited to see the
rise in popularity of our newly released designs.
From the bright colours of Jazz to the intricate
heart design of Blossom, our new designs have
something to suit every door design and can give
classic styles a whole new lease of life.
Upgrade to future-proofed engineering
On the theme of quiet luxury, an upgrade to our
newly-engineered Gripcore 2.0 slab is the perfect
choice. Future-proof engineering at its finest, the
latest version of Gripcore is made with a hybrid
timber foam core and features thin sheets of
aluminium to reduce moisture infiltration and
provide a stronger composition than ever before.
Encased in our signature GRP skins, Gripcore’s
premium core is a hidden secret that improves
thermal performance and provides a strong,
reliable entrance for years to come.
We’re excited to head into the new season and
see these trends come to life – will you be
updating your marketing to reflect the above?
