bienestar... ¡Mantente atento a este espacio!
ENG
With the global wellness economy currently valued at $5.6 trillion
and projected to reach $8.5 trillion by 2027, wellness professionals
must stay abreast of current trends. Here are some trends that I
believe to be important for the spa and wellness industry across
our region of Mexico the Caribbean and Latin America.
Social wellness: Facilitate social connection for your guests, and
wherever possible utilize spaces for gathering that incorporate
nature.
Energy medicine: Across our region, there is an incredibly rich
culture and history of spiritual and energetic wellness practices,
these continue to rise in popularity.
Biohacking or health optimization: Whether using advanced
technology (often high cost) like cryotherapy, red light therapy,
or ancient practices of breathwork, ice baths, circadian rhythms,
and sound therapy, these practices can be offered to guests
looking for longevity and wellness.
Men’s wellness retreats: This global trend sees the wellness
industry tackling the consequences of rising male loneliness with
solutions to help men reconnect with themselves and with one
another.
Artificial intelligence: AI is increasingly being used in health and
medical fields for advanced diagnostics, in addition to interactive,
personalized art installations. Over the coming decade, it will
likely filter into every aspect of our lives, changing the way we
operate wellness businesses… watch this space!
