Ê ‘Swift Street’, a new urban heist-escapade<br />

through inner-city Melbourne, will<br />

premiere on SBS on Wednesday, <strong>April</strong> 24 at<br />

8.30pm. This action-packed crime drama follows<br />

21-year-old street smart Elsie who must<br />

team up with her jaded old-school hustler<br />

father, Robert, to get him out of a $26,000<br />

debt and save him from a merciless crime<br />

boss. The unlikely pair embark on a series of<br />

crimes while navigating their complicated<br />

father-daughter relationship.<br />

Ê A number of popular shows in the US as<br />

well as here have been renewed for further<br />

seasons. Dick Wolf-produced procedurals<br />

‘Chicago Med’, ‘Chicago Fire’, ‘Chicago P.D’.,<br />

‘Law & Order’ and ‘Law & Order: SVU’ have<br />

all been given the green light by NBC. The<br />

only series yet to be renewed is ‘Law & Order:<br />

Organised Crime’.<br />

Ê Disney+ is becoming the home of music<br />

docos of late, with one about legendary<br />

Californian band The Beach Boys set to premiere<br />

next month. Simply titled ‘The Beach<br />

Boys’, the documentary traces the band<br />

from humble family beginnings and features<br />

never-before-seen footage and all-new interviews<br />

with The Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson,<br />

Mike Love, Al Jardine, David Marks, Bruce<br />

Johnston, plus other luminaries in the music<br />

business, including Lindsey Buckingham,<br />

Janelle Monáe, Ryan Tedder, and Don Was.<br />

Viewers will also hear from the group’s Carl<br />

and Dennis Wilson in their own words, plus<br />

view a new interview with Blondie Chaplin<br />

and hear audio from Ricky Fataar. Catch ‘The<br />

Beach Boys’ from Friday, May 24 on Disney+.<br />

Ê It was one of the most talked about<br />

shows a couple of years ago, and now ‘Nine<br />

Perfect Strangers’ is getting a second season.<br />

Details on the plot of the new season is<br />

scarce at this stage, but one thing is assured,<br />

Nicole Kidman will be reprising her role in<br />

the Amazon Prime Video production. Don’t<br />

expect it anytime soon though.<br />

Ê ‘Luxe Listings Sydney’ spin-off, ‘Luxe<br />

Listings Toronto’ is coming to Prime Video on<br />

Friday, <strong>April</strong> 26. The Toronto-based edition<br />

follows one of the most cutthroat real estate<br />

markets on the planet, showcasing highstakes<br />

multimillion-dollar listings in Canada’s<br />

largest city. It features agents Peter and<br />

Paige Torkan, founders of Team Torkan, and<br />

Brett Starke, founder of The Starke Group.<br />

Ê Just in time for the school holidays, a reboot<br />

of 2000s animation ‘Dora the Explorer’<br />

is coming to Paramount+ on Friday, <strong>April</strong> 12.<br />

With all new CG animation and imaginative<br />

character driven storylines, the upcoming<br />

‘Dora’ series follows everyone’s favourite<br />

bilingual explorer, Dora, and her best monkey<br />

friend, Boots, as they embark on epic<br />

adventures in a fantastical rainforest.<br />
