Christmas on The Potomac & Ice!
& Luncheon at Old Ebbitt Grill

We begin our holiday season adventure in our nations capital
Washington, D.C. with a delicious luncheon at the Old
Ebbitt Grill. Established in 1856, the Old Ebbitt Grill was
a favorite restaurant of Presidents Grant, Cleveland, Harding
and Theodore Roosevelt and is still a popular meeting spot
for political insiders, journalists, celebrities and theater-goers.
Following our luncheon, we depart for the Gaylord National
Hotel in National Harbor, Maryland. National Harbor is
a new 300-acre waterfront destination located in southern
Maryland along a panoramic stretch of the Potomac River.
Upon our arrival, we visit “Ice!”, the Gaylord National’s new,
signature holiday attraction. Unlike anything you’ve ever
seen before, “Ice!” is a fantastical, indoor winter wonderland
created by 40 international artisans. Explore this unique world
of imagination entirely hand-carved out of ice, and celebrating
the spirit of Christmas! We conclude our visit at the Gaylord
National Hotel with some free time to explore the splendor

built in 1911, and claims the distinction of being the location

Day 1: Welcome Aboard! Join us for a fun-filled get-away
full of spectacular scenery, holiday cheer and yuletide spirit
in Central Massachusetts. Settle back, relax and enjoy the
scenery on our drive to the Yankee Candle Company in
Sturbridge, Massachusetts. Upon our arrival you will have
some leisure time to explore the world’s largest candle store,
including watching a demonstration of Colonial candle making,
try candle dipping, and visit the Bavarian Christmas Village
“where it’s always evening in an Alpine town”! Tonight,
dinner is included at Storrowton Tavern offering traditional
New England cuisine in an historic setting. Following dinner,
step aboard our deluxe motor coach and conclude our travel day
with a visit to “Bright Nights at Forest Park”, a drive through
an enchanting winter wonderland of dazzling light displays.
