We travel to Wilmington, Delaware for an exciting “Civil<br />

War Skirmish Train Ride Excursion” on the Wilmington &<br />

Western Railroad. From your seat onboard a vintage train,<br />

we will travel with the troops on a 2-¼ hour round trip train<br />

ride to the site of a skirmish between Union and Confederate<br />

forces. Settle into the clickety-clack of the rails as you watch<br />

reenactors dressed in authentic period costumes engage in battle<br />

using civil war era weapons. Enjoy this action packed civil war<br />

battlefield reenactment while making your round trip journey<br />

in antique passenger coaches pulled by a coal-burning steam<br />

locomotive or an early generation diesel locomotive. Before<br />

a trip to Kilkenny and explore this medieval city situated on<br />

the banks of the River Nore. Arrive in this historic city of<br />

the largest collection of Waterford Crystal in the world.<br />
