Day 2: After a hearty continental breakfast we meet our stepon
guide, and depart for a day of sightseeing. We begin at
the White Mountains Visitor’s Center where we will view
exhibits and are provided with an excellent overview of the
White Mountains. While you’re here take time to visit the
Gift Shop. Next we climb aboard the Hobo Railroad for an
80-minute train excursion. Settle into the clickety-clack
of the rails, enjoying the natural, woodsy setting along the
Pemigewasset River. A hobo picnic lunch is included on board
the train. Following our train ride, we embark on a riding tour
along the Kancamagus Highway as we travel to the Loon
Mountain Gondola. We’ll ride New Hampshire’s longest sky
ride to the summit for a spectacular panoramic view! Before
returning to our Inn, we conclude our day of touring at Pepi
Herrmann Crystal where we will learn how crystal cutters
create the heirlooms of tomorrow. Pepi Herrmann has been
creating hand cut crystal masterpieces since 1974, and as one
of only a handful of master crystal cutters in the United States,
he has devoted his career to reviving the lost art of brilliant
cut crystal. Tonight, join your fellow travelers for a delicious
dinner at the Inn’s restaurant. (B, L, D)
Day 3: After a hearty continental breakfast we meet our stepon
guide, and depart for another day of sightseeing. We begin
Ossipee Mountains and overlooks Lake Winnipesaukee. Next
we will have free time to explore the picturesque New England
community of Wolfeboro Village. Enjoy leisurely browsing the
many specialty shops and restaurants on your own. We board
the M/S Mount Washington next, for a narrated sightseeing
cruise on Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire’s largest
lake. Our final stop will be at Kellerhaus. For over 100 years
the Kellerhaus family has proudly made the finest quality ice
cream and candies in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.
Also you will find a gift shop full of unique and specialty gifts.
Here we will enjoy a delicious Sundae with their homemade
ice-cream before returning to our Inn. You will have time to
