Ms. Bergeron reported that about 1,000 people attended the first Quilt Fest held on Main<br />

Street on June 2, 2012. Organizers were pleased with the attendance <strong>and</strong> merchants were<br />

happy with the traffic in their stores.<br />

Movies in the Park will start Wednesday, June 6; the movie will be Wall-E.<br />

The Village will again have a booth at PrairieFest; volunteers are needed for Friday, June 15<br />

<strong>and</strong> Saturday, June 16.<br />

#5 – Trustee Volpe asked if the entrance to subdivisions would be closed; Chief Baird<br />

responded that the closures would affect only a couple of residences.<br />

#4 – Pulled for additional discussion <strong>and</strong> separate vote – Additional discussion focused on<br />

the following:<br />

• How to h<strong>and</strong>le when employees reach top again<br />

• Concern with revenue stream<br />

• Salary ranges have not been reviewed for several years ranges are outdated<br />

• Salary range increases only, not actual salaries<br />

• Concern with problems in the future if more employees reach the cap in their salary<br />

range<br />

• Indication of a need to raise ranges is the fact that a significant percentage of<br />

employees are at or close to the cap of their salary range<br />

• Is there data on employees that have left due to salary range issues<br />

• Should take an employee ten (10) years to reach the top of their salary range<br />

• Pros <strong>and</strong> cons to giving a lump sum amount to employees that have reached the top<br />

of their salary range
