SETTING AN AMBUSH<br />
Armies that end their turn in an area of light forest can set an ambush<br />
for an enemy force. Armies made up entirely of stealth units can set an<br />
ambush anywhere on the campaign map. Any army caught in an ambush<br />
cannot avoid attack and does not get the opportunity to deploy for battle.<br />
AVOIDING ATTRITION<br />
Armies can be subject to attrition if they end turn in areas of extreme<br />
weather conditions such as desert and freezing cold. <strong>The</strong> banner above an<br />
army will flash when entering areas of attrition, whilst units affected will<br />
be marked with a skull. Attrition losses occur on the next turn.<br />
REPLENISHING UNITS<br />
Armies will automatically replenish losses whilst garrisoned in owned<br />
settlements. Those led by Generals can also replenish losses if they end<br />
turn in or near a home or allied region. Units that can be recruited from<br />
the region in question will replenish at a faster rate, whilst the presence of<br />
supply chain buildings, such as the Supply Post, will also speed this process.<br />

Ship crews must be replenished at ports. Move your ship back to one of<br />
your own ports, select it in the Review Panel and use the Repair Button<br />
to recruit new crew members and issue repairs.<br />
