Your Regions<br />

Regions all have a capital city, which must be held to keep control of the<br />

region. Outside of this capital, a region can also contain:<br />

Towns – <strong>The</strong>se settlement areas can be one of three types, each with their<br />

own building chain options.<br />

Industrial – centres of industry that can be used to boost your<br />

arms manufacturing or industrial output.<br />

Intellectual – centres of learning that can be dedicated to the<br />

development of intelligence gathering or higher education<br />

and research.<br />

Commercial – Used to develop your regions trade or commerce.<br />

Crucially, these towns can be used to provide supplies to<br />

nearby armies.<br />

Resources – Useful natural resources are present in most regions.<br />

Exploiting these through farm, mine or mill construction, will increase<br />

productivity and trade income.<br />

Trade Routes – A network of routes across a region and from its ports<br />

mark active trade within your nation and with rival nations.<br />

Region Capitals<br />

<strong>The</strong> capital is the central control point and the source of information for a<br />

region. Double-click on a capital to view the Region Details Panel which<br />

includes information on:<br />

REGION WEALTH<br />

<strong>The</strong> wealth of a region is essentially the sum of wealth contributed by<br />

towns and income from buildings and taxation across the region.<br />

PUBLIC ORDER<br />

Balance the happiness of your people to maintain the status quo. <strong>The</strong> panel<br />

displays the current factors influencing this for both classes.<br />
