in. Following the narrow defeat to<br />
Edinburgh at home, we learnt some<br />
lessons, made adjustments on defence<br />
and were rewarded with a shut-out.<br />
On offense, despite making a few<br />
mistakes, we were able to capitalise<br />
far better on our momentum and field<br />
position and as a consequence scored<br />
four touchdowns.”<br />
Shropshire now turn their attention to<br />
the semi-final clash against conference<br />
rivals Manchester Titans, away on<br />
Sunday, 12 September. Titans, who<br />
beat Revolution 36-20 in at regular<br />
season meeting back in May are<br />
unbeaten this season and last year were<br />
knocked out at the semi-final stage by<br />
eventual champions Leicester Falcons.<br />
Reid added: “The forthcoming semifinal<br />
at Manchester will be a really<br />
tough game, two powerful defences<br />
and two high-octane offenses<br />
capable of scoring at will. It will be<br />
a challenge, but our guys are in a<br />
confident mood – the last game was a<br />
lot closer than the score line suggested.<br />
With a place in the national final at<br />
Worcester at stake, the match promises<br />
to be a classic.”<br />
