The aerodynamic design of the Thrust Supersonic Car was developed by the Department of Civil Engineering at Swansea University uses a Cray supercomputer and verified at the nearby Pendine rocket testing site. It has been developed as the result of international collaboration led and co-ordinated in Wales by the University of Glamorgan. 57
