novel l<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> a blast furnace at Blaenafon <strong>in</strong> 1878<br />
was to revolutionise steel mak<strong>in</strong>g. Even though many<br />
milestones were placed on the historical road some<br />
years ago, their importance rema<strong>in</strong>s, just as more<br />
recent ones commemorat<strong>in</strong>g stages <strong>in</strong> the electronics<br />
revolution will have importance <strong>in</strong> years to come…<br />
