△ DELTA ANNOUNCES POLYNESIAN PARADISE
Delta has started construction of a new 50-meter, fulldisplacement
motor yacht, the sixth built to its proven
hull design with large tank volumes and extended range
needed for transoceanic cruising. The 750-gross-ton vessel
has a Polynesian-inspired tropical hardwood interior
and room for 12 guests plus owners. The yacht will be
equipped with twin Caterpillar 3512B engines that will
give her a cruising speed of 14.5 knots and a maximum
speed of 16 knots. She will carry 21,900 gallons of fuel
and have a range of more than 5,000 nautical miles.

SANLORENZO WINS NAUTICAL DESIGN AWARD
At the 23rd edition of the Miami Yacht & Brokerage
Show in February, the Italian Trade Commission, in
collaboration with UCINA (Italian Marine Industry Association)
awarded Sanlorenzo with the Nautical Design
Award. The builder was chosen for the award due
to the development of the Sanlorenzo brand in foreign
markets, in particular the American market after
founding Sanlorenzo of the Americas. The Nautical
Design Awards is instituted by the ADI (Association for
the Industrial Design), which has a leading role in the
development of the industrial design as a cultural and
economic phenomenon.
▽ TRINITY GOES LONG
Trinity Yachts is pleased to have launched its longest
build to date: the 198-foot, aluminum Areti. The superyacht
will be delivered this summer following final refitting
and will cruise the Bahamas and Mediterranean.
Areti’s draft can be reduced to less than 8 feet, allowing
access to Bahamian islands and harbors. The yacht can
accommodate 13 guests in seven staterooms and 18
crew in nine cabins, and features a two-person elevator
with access to all decks. Cruising range is around 3,500
nautical miles.
