Enjoy two special festive days away
on this great tour.
We start with a local departure by
coach for our journey north to the
pretty Yorkshire village of
Grassington where the Dickensian
Festival is in full swing. The town is
transported back to the time of
Charles Dickens. See the Christmas
lights, the village square and the
streets transformed into a traditional
market with shopkeepers, villagers
and visitors dressed in Victorian
costume. There are musicians,
dancers, street entertainers and
exhibitions of traditional country gifts.
The Grassington pubs, cafes and
hotels, along with the outdoor stalls

and town Hall all offer traditional
fayre at affordable prices. See the
torch lit procession around the village
with Mary and Joseph, ending with a
short carol service in the square.
Catch a bite to eat as we are staying
until the mid evening. Afterwards we
join up with the coach and travel to
your overnight hotel where
accommodation has been reserved
on a bed and breakfast basis.
On day 2 we take you to vibrant
Leeds where the Christkindl Market
is in full swing.
We commence our journey home
during the afternoon, arriving back
later on.

opportunities. We will firstly take you
to Manchester’s city centre which is
scheduled to host a range of
Christmas markets bringing
European traders and their goods
into the heart of the north west.
Afterwards we visit Cheshire Oaks –
one of Europe’s largest designer
outlet stores.
We start with a local departure for
our journey north. We take you
directly to Manchester - where the
areas of Albert Square and St. Ann’s
Square are transformed into a winter
wonderland. This shopping
experience promises to offer a range
of Christmas decorations, arts and
crafts including wooden toys,
European dolls and teddies, jewellery
and pottery, European wines,
Gluhweins, beers and local food
delicacies. After time to load your
purchases onto our coach we make
our way to our hotel where rooms
have been booked with private
facilities.

Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet
Complex. This is just the place to
pick up that elusive Christmas gift.
There will be time to shop until you
drop before we return back in the
afternoon.
