This great break includes visits to 2
fabulous European Christmas
markets or, as they are known,
Christkindlmarkte. The Mediaeval
city of Nuremberg, holds one of
Germany’s largest Christmas
markets. Explore the old town, the
Altstadt, enjoying the brightly
decorated stalls. Rothenburg is on
the ‘romantic road’ in Bavaria and is
a walled city that has been left largely
un-touched for hundreds of years.
Its Christmas market is one of the
oldest in Germany dating back to the
15 th century.
We start with a local departure by
coach for our journey via the cross
Channel ferry or Eurotunnel to the

hotel located within coaching
distance of Nuremberg and
Rothenburg. All rooms have private
facilities. During your stay the hotel

On day 2 we take you to Neurenberg
Christmas market.
On day 3 we take you to the
Christmas market at Rothenburg.
On day 4 we commence our journey

Combine the tradition of the beautiful
Czech capital with the charm of
Rothenburg - a walled city left largely
untouched for hundreds of years.
Day 1 - Local departure and travel
via the Eurotunnel / cross Channel
ferry to our ‘stopover’ in Germany.
From here we make our way to
Prague where accommodation has
been reserved for 3 nights at the

Day 3 - Day at leisure in Prague, with
an included sightseeing tour of the
main attractions. Remainder of the
day is free to explore the fascinating
Christmas markets.
Day 4 - Further day to take
advantage of Prague. The city
enjoys a stunning skyline with
magnificent views of the River
Vlatava and its famous Charles
Bridge.
Day 5 - Depart from Prague and
head for Germany, to Mediaeval
Rothenburg. This hosts one of the
oldest Christmas markets in

Prague Christmas Market
Germany dating back to the 15 th
century. Overnight in the Wurzburg
area on a dinner, bed and breakfast
basis.
On day 6 we head for Cologne – the
Rhineland capital. Time to visit the
famous Christmas markets.
Following our overnight stopover on
a bed and Continental breakfast
basis.
Day 7 - Continue our journey home.

bar and restaurant. To round things
off there is a large sport, fitness and
entertainment centre and bowling
