We start with a local departure for our
journey via the cross Channel ferry or
Eurotunnel to France. From here we
make our way to Belgium and the
historic city of Bruges. This is a
maze of winding cobbled alleys and
romantic canals with a wealth of
museums and a stirring history. We
will stay at the 5* Kempinski Hotel
Dukes Palace. This has a prime
location in the heart of town. The

On day 2 you can make the most of
the historic city. Explore the
Mediaeval architecture, quaint
cobbled streets and picturesque

setting for the Christmas market
where you will find beautifully
wrapped chocolates, colourful sweets
and handmade decorations.
On day 3, after a leisurely breakfast,
we make our way home, arriving
back later on.

This great break combines visits to 2
fabulous European Christmas
markets. The mediaeval city of
Nuremberg holds one of Germany’s
largest Christmas markets. Explore
the old town, the Altstadt enjoying the
brightly decorated stalls. Würzburg
is a vibrant university town
surrounded by vineyards. Places of
interest include the Prince Bishops
Residence House. The traditional
Christmas market has a long history
stretching back hundreds of years.
It is one of the most atmospheric in
Germany with beautifully decorated
wooden booths illuminated by the
soft glow of the Christmas lighting.
The air is filled with spicy smells from
the decorated stalls and the sound of
traditional Christmas songs.
Performances of the nativity story fill
the market on Advent Sundays at
4pm.
We start with a local departure by
coach for our journey via the cross
Channel ferry or Eurotunnel to the
continent. We make our way to our
hotel – the Fuerther Hotel Mercure,
Nuernberg West. This modern hotel
is located in the Nuernberg / Furth /
Erlangen area. All rooms have
private facilities. Features include a

On day 2 we transfer you to central
Nuremberg for you to enjoy the
Christmas market.
On day 3 we take you to Würzburg to
enjoy the Christmas market
On day 4 we commence our journey
