Following the success
of Source Temps, the
company has appointed
Carly Bond as
consultant.
Source recruits a new
consultant
Source Recruitment has taken on a
new consultant after a successful
first year for its temp business.
The company launched Source
Temps in May last year to meet the
demand from its clients and
candidates for a temp service.
Demand has exceeded expectations,
so Source have now appointed Carly
Bond as a consultant to focus solely
on that side of the business.
Miss Bond, 27, has previously
worked in customer service roles and
is also a qualified photographic
consultant and teacher of English as
a foreign language.
‘I was looking for a role which
would lead to a long term career for
me, give me enormous job
satisfaction and use all the skills I
had learnt from the jobs I had
previously held. Being a consultant
for Source Temps offers all of that
and more,’ she said.
‘Every day is different but it’s very
rewarding matching the right job to the
right person as you need to consider
skills, expectations, company ethos
and personalities. It’s often very
fast-paced and tests my prioritisation
and organisational skills.’
Miss Bond, who enjoys
photography and art, is currently
studying for the REC Certificate in
Recruitment Practice.

been growing steadily since it was
launched. It quickly became obvious
that we needed someone to focus on

Carly to the team as she is the

temp service,’ said Source associate

Accountant and
tax adviser
joins Brehon
Brehon Chartered Accountants has
appointed a new tax manager to
continue its expansion plans.
Nick Medlan, who is a qualified
accountant and tax adviser, has made
the move from Ernst and Young back
into the small business environment,
having trained as an accountant with a
firm in the UK that serviced the needs
of local businesses.
‘I’ve enjoyed my time at EY but found
myself missing local practice; now I’m
looking forward to getting back into
working with individuals and business
owners on their tax issues,’ he said.
‘Dealing with taxation can be a scary
experience for some people so it’s very
satisfying being able to see the
difference you make to the people you
work for, helping them know that
everything is up to date and sorted out.’
Brehon, which provides accounting
and taxation services to local
businesses, now employs 12 staff.
