New Legis Group director returns to the island
The Legis Group has appointed a new
director to its trust and corporate
services department.
John Morris, the former head of
wealth structuring at Barclays Wealth in
Geneva, has returned to Guernsey to
take up the position, having previously
worked for the local branch of KPMG.
Mr Morris, who began his career as
an accountant, has significant
experience of working in offshore
jurisdictions both within major
bank-owned as well as within leading
independent trust companies.

Islands, the Cayman Islands,
Switzerland and previously Guernsey, I
was thrilled to take up this position
with Legis Group where I believe my
background and experience puts me in
a good position to contribute
significantly to achieving our business

Having qualified as a Chartered
Accountant early in his career, Mr
Morris has since become a Fellow of
the Institute of Chartered Accountants
in England and Wales (FCA).
