Solutions <strong>for</strong> standard business situations: The business economy computer program “PC Kaufmann”
(schooling version) and its uses, exemplified through the model company Elwers-KG.de
Owing to the extension of the EEC and the introduction of the Euro as a common currency, commodity exchanges,
especially with Eastern European countries, will increase strongly in the future. Under socialism, computer
supported business economy work, such as
- accounting
- storage and purchase order processing
- processing of orders
- cashkeeping
were only inadequately mastered, whereas in Western Europe companies that did not use modern computer
programs vanished from the market.
Due to its history and geographical situation, is the natural partner to accompany its neighbours, Slovenia, Hungary,
Slovacia, and the Czech Republic on their way to the European Community.
One of Austria’s essential tasks on this way might be to create school partnerships in order to introduce students
from these countries, through the use of textbook “model companies”, into the practice of business economy work.
This should be restricted to universities and economy schools that provide courses in German as a <strong>for</strong>eign language
(a translation into English will follow after the introduction of the Euro in the United Kingdom).

The role of vocational and training in the developing of economy and industry in european fast
changes countries
Humans never lived better than today, while in the meantime we can say that in human history there were never
much difference between scientific, technical and social systems.
If we rely upon scientific and technical achievement only the quality of life should have been better and better, but
as we see, it is difficult to create authentic social structures, which would enable these advantages. There<strong>for</strong>e, it is
not clear to identify the existence of division limit between efficiency of technical systems, which are being
developed very fast, and non-efficiency of social structures.
Throughout the world, important and difficult political, economical and technological processes are being developed
intensively, which have never been such experienced be<strong>for</strong>e by humanity.
In the economy field, are factors which by their development, impact the disparity of interaction or its meaning:
- Globalization, as a result of economy internationalization
- Liberalism
- Other <strong>for</strong>ms of organization – reorganization
- Virtually
- Rapid technological development, especially in<strong>for</strong>mation technology
- Human resource development as a key of basic factor
