Baseball has been called the National Pastime. Even today when it is<br />

challenged by the popularity of other sports and forms of entertainment,<br />

baseball has a hold on America’s consciousness. Baseball captures the<br />

American imagination in literature, mythology, film, and folklore. The sport<br />

reflects American’s history, society and its values. This three hour class<br />

examines why baseball has a continuing impact on America. The instructor<br />

encourages students to bring their baseball memories to class.<br />

NEW! Travelogue: Paris and london in the Spring Sun<br />

Paris is a work of art in the springtime and London spring flowers are<br />

outstanding, say Bob and Madeline Brown, your hosts and commentators<br />

in your classroom travel abroad. The Browns, a husband and wife team<br />

from Bethlehem, travel the world in search of interesting places to film<br />

their documentaries. The visit to Paris includes scenes from Notre Dame,<br />

Luxembourg Gardens, Champs-Elysees, and a Boat Tour at Night while<br />

scenes of London cover Mayfair, Hyde Park, Hampstead, Changing of the<br />

Guard and the British Museum. Students are encouraged to bring a bag<br />

lunch to class.<br />

instructor, Attorney Mary Ann Snell. Learn the ups and downs of reverse<br />

mortgages in this two hour class when she answers questions such as:<br />

Tax - free income at what cost? What effect does a reverse mortgage have<br />

on an estate and heirs? Other topics include definitions of a first, home,<br />

second home and an explanation on effects of selling the home.<br />
