of negotiation with the office of the Commissioner. Such<br />

rigidity in applying the Law which, as stated above, con-<br />

Provide the Commissioner with better working conditions, equipment and staff;<br />

tains certain ambiguities and is far from perfect, may result<br />

in significant administrative and legal costs on the part of<br />

data controllers attempting to fulfil their obligations under<br />

the Law while conducting their business in the same manner<br />

as their counterparts located in the European Union.<br />

Determine the supervisory bodies that would monitor the implementation of the Law in cooperation with the<br />

Commissioner;<br />

Adopt by-laws or issue precise instructions and standardised forms necessary to improve the implementation of<br />

the Law (particularly in relation to the coordination of existing databases and applying for data export permits);<br />

Establish better communication between the Commissioner and other state authorities, non-governmental organisations<br />

(NGOs) and international organisations;<br />

Conduct workshops and seminars in order to educate citizens and raise their awareness of the protection of their<br />

rights.<br />
