The general procedure is that placement in math courses is automatically generated<br />
when students take <strong>the</strong> Accuplacer. The Elementary Algebra Test is administered first.<br />
If <strong>the</strong> score is greater than or equal to 63, <strong>the</strong> College Level <strong>Math</strong> Test is administered.<br />
If <strong>the</strong> score is less than 35, <strong>the</strong> Arithmetic Test is administered. However, <strong>the</strong><br />
Arithmetic score is not used in <strong>the</strong> placement criteria.<br />
Placement, along with informal course names, is given in <strong>the</strong> following chart. The<br />
<strong>Math</strong> 80, 81, and 82 courses are all noncredit, remedial courses.<br />
