Singapore has acquired four new hotels in the last year to complement<br />

the six added to the city’s inventory in 2010.<br />

The 241-room Ibis Singapore Novena at 6 Irrawaddy Road, handy to<br />

Orchard Road and downtown, is the fi rst international 3-star hotel in the<br />

The 888-room V Hotel Lavender at 70 Jellicoe Road is close to the<br />

city, a 5-minute drive from Sim Lim Square and Bugis Village Shopping<br />

Street and 25 minutes from Changi International.<br />

The Porcelain Hotel on Mosque Street is an affordable alternative<br />

in one of Chinatown’s historically infamous lanes. It offers 84 unique<br />

guestrooms in a row of adjoining shop houses.<br />

The Oasia Hotel at 8 Sinaran Drive, in the Novena District. This premier<br />

business hotel is the “maiden hotel” of Oasia, a new hospitality brand<br />

The Mövenpick Heritage Hotel in central Sentosa Island, fuses colonial<br />

history and modern fl air. It has 190 guestrooms, a range of dining options<br />

The Club a 22-room luxury boutique hotel on Ann Siang road. Designed<br />

into a 1900s heritage building, The Club pays homage to Singapore’s<br />

The Wanderlust in the Little India District, downtown, offers four<br />

thematic levels and 29 different rooms, each with its own experimental<br />

The luxurious Hotel Fort Canning is another designed into a majestic<br />

colonial building. Between Orchard Road and Clarke Quay, it offers 86<br />

MOON Hotel is a modern 83-room boutique hotel in Little India, central,<br />

downtown location. MOON fuses contemporary chic and fuss design.<br />

Wangz is an ultra modern boutique hotel in the Tiong Bahru heritage<br />

area that blends Art Deco and Straits Settlement styles. Wangz has 41<br />
