UPDATE: Isle Maligne Society
Isle Maligne Society participation grew
by almost 10 percent in 1999-2000
and is now at a total of 438 members.
The Isle Maligne Society is our leadership
gift club for Fuqua alumni and
friends who give $1,000 or more
annually to the school. Co-chairs for
this year are: Peter Heist ‘85, executive
vice president, Masonite, a division
of International Paper; Own May
‘83, chairman, May Davis Group; and
Elizabeth Nicholson ‘78, financial
advisor, American Express.
“The 1,000 Giving $1,000 Challenge”
Do you think 1,000 of Fuqua’s 8,500
alumni can give back $1,000 each
annually to support the school? An
anonymous donor does. Therefore, the
Development and Alumni Relations
Department announces “The 1,000
Giving $1,000 Challenge.” An anonymous
donor has issued a $250,000
challenge to all alumni that will match
any new or increased gift to the Isle
Maligne Society. An increase in membership
and donations to the Isle
Maligne Society will help Fuqua
achieve some major goals in the areas
of faculty recruitment and retention,
increasing scholarships, improving
information technology and strengthening
the alumni network. You will
learn more about the challenge in the
Annual Fund phonathons and mailings.
